Does anyone have any experience with the product liquid quartz. It says that its a “glaze” that is food safe and makes unglazes clay waterproof. I am interested in making primitive ceramic objects that can still be used with food even though they are unglazed. Glazes doesn’t really look good on primitive ceramics.

Im looking for a durable food safe surface, i found this old recipe, but im pretty new to the chemistry of glazes and don’t now if this glaze is functional.

Is it possible to make a glaze that can be fired at cone 08? I have been searching for a while but i can’t seem to find a basic glaze recipe for cone 08.
