  1. Can anyone advise/ I am getting blistering(pinholing) of an earthenware glaze particularly on the undersides of plates, sometimes under vases. I am soaking for 20 minutes getting a cone 04 down, though this glaze has also fired well at 05. Increasing the temperature does not cure the problem. We bisc fire(porcelain) to 1260C, so the body is pretty clean and hard.

Thanks Sputty- I will take some photos and give more details. It's an intermittent problem, but I have changed neither the glaze (made up in the pottery) nor the body(porcelain supplied to my recipe).

      Jonathan.
