Hey oldlady, it's all looking good.  Wishing you a great sellout.  Do you dip your long platters in a bucket? Spray or brush? I've been dipping 3/4 then then other 1/4. It's ok, but I sometimes want a solid coverage. 

i spray greenware and fire it to cone 6.  i can share the recipe if you like.  it has barium carb in it and some people are frightened of using it.  check the facts.  

Hi again, and sure, that would be nice. But I better read up on barium. I've never used it. I want to be sure I understand so I can dispel any doubts I might incur from naysayers, and frighteners. 

several years later, 2022, i realize that i have not updated the use of barium in my glaze.  it was only 8% but i found that the final glaze surface would scratch easily so it is no longer in use.  much too tender for functional work.
