Interesting Roberta, I am curious about the form details. Did you put the lines in to catch glaze run, for aesthetics, or both?  I like the effect of the copper increasing in color depth as it runs: nice touch. Very nice indeed!

Thank you Nerd.  I made a batch of these for my daughter.  She wanted a stamp put on them on the wide part of the cup.  I felt the form called for something so I put the lines toward the top.  When I made the next batch, I alternated, some cups have the lines at the top and some on the lower part.  I have decided I like the lines on the top better.  These cups have 3 glazes on them.
