Dante - Overall Grand Champion

Dante, a 4 inch tall equine sculpture shown here taking Overall Grand Champion award for custom glazed equine ceramics at Shay Canfield's all china equine sculpture show held in Virgina, May 27th, 2023.  I repaired the two broken legs on this piece and custom glazed him to a bay going dappled grey.  Underglazed at cone 04, glossy clear glaze at cone 06, overglazes (both china paints and opaque enamels) fired at cone 016.  Private collection.
