Denice
i seem to be having a difficult time finding cone 04 glaze recipes. anyone have any good resources? i did see the 15 low fire glaze recipes here, but id like to see more. I purchased the Ceramics Monthly Archives and the 1960 through 1969 has a abundance of low fire recipes I haven't gone through the 70's archive yet but I started taking Ceramics Monthly in the early 70's or read them at the library when I couldn't afford them. I donated most of my magazines to a local high school, but the cd is easy to search through and takes up a lot less room. Some of the glazes you won't be able to make because you can't get the chemicals easily such as lead but you will learn so much more about the evolution of the art of clay. The search for low fire recipes through the archives is well worth the trip. Denice (Wichita, KS)
