Denice
i am looking for a simple (student makable) true gloss white... thanks, ruth Ruth, I haven't tested this glaze but I remembered reading about it that is was a simple glaze to make. It's Tony Hansen 5X20 plus 10% zircopax White Gloss here's the formula 20-Frit 3134 20-EPK 20-Silica 20-Custer Spar 20-Wollanstonite 10-Zircopax. I read a review of a test by Alisa in Denmark, she said that Cobalt, RIO, Black Stain. Chrome and Yellow Ochre showed well under the glaze held their edge and stayed exactly as painted. Test away!
