This may be familiar to some, but it was new to me.

If you want to rent a pottery DVD, try Smartflix, they are similar to Netflix with the shipping arrangements. They have DVDs by Tony Clennell, Lana Wilson, Robin Hopper, and more.

They also have DVDs on other hobbies as well.

I have been getting the pottery videos from Smartflix for over a year now and I have to say it has helped me explore so many different techniques that I never would have known about otherwise. I highly recommend them to anyone new to pottery or anyone that doesn't have access to a great studio and/or teacher or workshops. Yesterday I watched a Mitch Lyons video and went right to work using slips and newsprint and had two beautiful platters at the end of the day. They are worth every penny and then some!
