Kaolinwasher Posted June 30, 2017 Report Share Posted June 30, 2017 this is a video of my small kiln firing in reduction, Cone 8 is bending after 10 hours i kinda take my time , full oxidation up to cone 06 and then switch to reduction with a blue flame the intirior of this smal ltest kiln is 6.5" widex 13" long and 9.5" high the flambe comes in under the shelf and circulates back around and out the top it has 2.5" 2600 brick and 1.5" fiber board top loaded doing lots of testing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5-M6XvDn0o Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kaolinwasher Posted July 1, 2017 Author Report Share Posted July 1, 2017 about 500- to 600 bucks the shorty burner was 175.00 and i used about 30 bricks at 4 .00$ each and some ceramic fiber board the burner tip is 1. 25 " wide so it works well on this small kiln. thinking of makeing a small 8x8x10 updraft just for doing bowls Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
