potterymadmatthew
I have been painting inside this garden pot. I have been using the Duncan underglaze to paint 2 or 3 coats on it When fired its turns out with a white mist over a brown coat why is that? Its the same when I use a stroke and coat glaze please see photos!! Thanks Matthew
Roberta12
I wonder if it's something with the clear you used over it?? I have to say, I have found both the Amaco people and the Duncan people quite helpful with questions. Maybe you could call or email Duncan and see what they have to say? Nice pots, btw. bciskepottery
How are you applying the clear glaze -- by dipping or brushing? Uneven/thick coats of clear will result in cloudiness, especially if it runs and pools.
potterymadmatthew
Thanks for your replies. I did not use a clear glaze just brushed it on. How should it be done then? Could you please advise. Kind Regards Matthew
