Casey
I like the idea of the ease of use of the new(ish) Amaco Potter's choice glazes.... wondering if there are any tips out there for successful usage? Any cool layered combos?

Any cool layered combos? Amaco used to recommend using their Opalescent Glazes (these are beautiful), for interesting effects (refer to older Amaco catalogs). They also make a lead free Texturizer TH-1 that can be used with the PC glazes. Looks great in the catalog. If you contact them they will probably give you more suggestions. After I posted the last entry, I went to the Amaco website. There are beautiful results to be had mixing the PC glazes with other PC glazes. You have to go to the site and see them for yourself. http://www.amaco.com I cannot do them justice here. You can also save the images for later reference. Kudos to Amaco, it is wonderful to see a company get better and better.
