DMCosta Posted July 9 Report Share Posted July 9 Hi Everyone, I'm looking to branch out a bit more into using bucket style dipping glazes. I've mixed some dry glazes in past years, and I'm never sure what dry glaze brand or company is the best. I'm looking for somewhere that has all it it pre-measured dry, and I can just mix it up myself. (as I've been down the raw chemical route in the past and didn't love it) Anyone have any companies, brands, or even specific dry glaze colors they really like? I use a cone 5 clay body. Kelly in AK Posted July 9 Report Share Posted July 9 I use some from Clay Art Center in Tacoma in my classroom, have for years without trouble. Let’s see, the favorites are: PZN clear (can be used as a base too, add stains or oxides), Sagebrush Celadon, Plum Red, Floating Blue, and Cola Green.
