timbo_heff
Anyone have a Shino formula that is known to work well on bone dry wares? I am hoping to avoid bisque firing but I guess I will if I have to . I have some of this Gustin shino made up ... (not sure if Chris actually had anything to do with it ) : Could this maybe be tweaked to work on bone dry with the addition of bentonite ? Gustin Shino Nepheline syenite-45% F-4 Soda feldspar-10.8% Spodumene-15.2% OM # 4 ball clay-15.0% EPK-10.0 Soda ash-4.0% Perhaps bisque fire is the best option no matter what if the wares are already bone dry ? Thanks in advance for any advice on this !
