Hi everyone, i have a problem slipcasting one part mold (plates/bowls with wider bottom), bottom of the objects are warping and you can see a hill formed inside of the plate or bowl (only after glaze firing. Basically, bottom of the plate arches. Maybe some of you know why this happens?

Hello everyone! thank you for your replies! i do t have access to mason stain, but have some alternatives here (in Germany). I have tried them already and they turned all to have a greenish shade, i guess, the colorants had some chrome? will check mason stain ingredients and see if i can achieve the color. Thanx a lot! -

Hello everyone! I am trying to find a combination of colorants to color my stoneware slip into a dark navy blue. does anyone has experience? Just using cobalt oxide doesn’t seem to work and adding a bit of black, also. Maybe there are more variations that could lead to a dark blue color? Thank you!
