  1. You and me both. If you look on Google, it shows a wooded area but there’s literally a cemetery like I can see it from my house. It’s just up on an embankment a little bit. Without giving out my address if you look at Covington Dr., Charleston, IN 47111. It should show you.
  2. Yeah, I keep trying to get the neighbors to talk about it and put it out there but nobody will because nobody wants to admit something is wrong with their house. Our subdivision is a I guess hotspot for house selling at the moment and nobody wants to admit anything because that would’ve hurt the value.. It actually very irritating. Whenever I was over at the HOA members house and even seeing what was growing from his baseboard, he wanted to continue to say something going on with your house and would not confess to more people. I’m like dude you have an issue, but he won’t admit it. I don’t know what to do.
  3. Thank you! I’m going to go look in a sec. Not that it has anything to do with it, but it’s creepy because there’s a cemetery like right there by our house up on the hill and not even a big hill just like a small embankment. I knew there was one close but not that close. I’ve had all kinds of people that’s had theories about it tho. lol gives me a goosebumps
  4. Ok, I will absolutely take your advice. I’m trying to stay away as much as possible it’s just hard when dad is sick and he falls or something and I have to go help. Plus my mom has her head buried in the sand but she’s been finally getting stuff moved and cleaned but it’s only her. So, I try to get there and help with what I can. Thankfully a friend is going tomorrow to help her cause she sees how bad I am every time I get done. Thank you so much for everything!!
  5. Actually, I was living in my car for two weeks and was finally sent down to Georgia to stay at my cousins while she was on vacation because it literally almost killed me. Since I posted this, I figured out that the smell is through our subdivision in different places. They had our HOA asked me to come smell his basement. I didn’t make it inside and I could smell it. He takes me inside and shows me stuff growing from the baseboard. I have no clue what it is but it’s the weirdest thing. Right before I was sent to GA I was out front of the house in my car asleep and the next morning I remember blacking out and coming in and out of consciousness trying to catch my breath and I couldn’t wake myself up. My phone starts blowing up and it’s my mom. I wake up enough to hear her screaming at me to get out of there because I was coughing and , like dry heaving at the same time which happens every time I cough anymore. I went to Georgia and got better and came back home and got sick again. Now my mom’s getting sick and we’re no closer to an answer. I never thought of an inspector, but we have had HVAC out there , we’ve had a plumber, we’ve had a builder sort of, had a biohazard team out there, and the fire department was called in whenever my mom went in to anaphylactic shock from it. When they did, the air quality test, it came back reading copper in the air. It has me wondering if copper and clay Could have some sort of tie together
  6. It’s funny at first my mom was a very first person to smell something and then she didn’t smell anything. When it was a floral smell, my friend was on her hands and knees, trying to find out where it was coming from because it was so overpowering and then she can’t anymore. I’ve been the most consistent and my mom has it on and off. If I’m to take something from the house, put it in a bag bring it to you and open it up you will be knocked backwards. I know what you mean about the Covid though because I do have Covid nose and anything peonies smells like cat pee to me lol I am curious though if Clay and copper have any relation to each other. When the fire department was there, they did an air quality test and it came back with copper in the air and they thought maybe I was allergic to the copper, but other people are smelling it and getting sick now actually.
  7. My brother came up from Tennessee and he’s a plumber and said all the pipes were fine. I would’ve swore after I found out it wasn’t dog urine that it was the sewer. Everything has a urine undertone to it especially clothes. I just know it’s hard to explain but it’s a harsh something on my lungs. That’s almost dirt like or dust like because when I breathe it feels like particles going into my lungs it’s the only way I can describe it. I don’t know how to describe it.
  8. That’s what I’m starting to wonder. We pulled the carpet and the guy that helps us out immediately said it was Clay coming through the concrete. I thought he was full of crap to be honest, but I thought the dogs were peeing. I’ve never seen anything like it my entire life. People act like I’m crazy that don’t know me and I’m like you don’t understand like I’ve never been this sick before other than five years ago when I had Covid really bad and this isn’t Covid either. People other than me have finally started to smell it.
  9. Sorry, I don’t know why I had no notification and I’m trying to figure out how to answer people and this is all new to me. My brother is a plumber and he came out and checked all the pipes and everything was fine.
  10. I’m so sorry I don’t know why I didn’t know anybody answered me. I haven’t had any notification. So, the vinegar I tried using it on my carpet, I tried it on my clothes, everything. My antiques are probably the only thing I haven’t. I thought it was sewer and we had a leak around the toilet upstairs, but it was fixed and the smell is still there except they got worse and moved from downstairs to the whole house. I thought the dogs were peeing everywhere at first because everything in the house is yellow. So I just assumed that it was them but whenever we pulled the carpet, I took a squirt mop and sprayed it and just went over it one time. Honestly, I was trying to prove that it was urine. Unfortunately, for me, it’s caused some kind of reaction that caused me to almost pass out and fall down the stairs because the smell was overpowering, I’ve noticed when it’s humid and raining It’s the worst. also when I clean things and it gets wet, the smell gets really strong. I tried to answer you and somehow I answered myself. Sorry I’m new to this.

  12. I know this is about ceramics, but my question has to do with Clay. I’m hoping this will kind of go hand-in-hand. So we’ve had this horrible smell, almost fragrancy overwhelming smell and it’s gotten to the point where it’s rotting, almost like sewage and it’s made me deathly sick to where I’ve had to not be able to stay in my house. Apparently *Now houses are built on Clay all the time, but that doesn’t mean it’s safe. I’ve thrown away almost all my clothes because of the smell. My closet he’s are gone. furniture is gone, my antiques are gone. My clothes have this terrible smell to them me and makes it so I can’t hardly breathe. I’ve done vinegar, neutralizers, Armen Hammer, the other powdered stuff and I’m running out of options and patience and money. Does anybody know how to get the smell out? It’s literally breaking me out and causing me to be sick.
