Thanks Neil, the kiln and panel are 12 years old but the panel seems to be ok, it is just the connector or the flat cable that cause the problem. I think the contacts on the flat cable are worn out and wander if I could cut 1/8 of an inch off the flat cable and expose the contacts to have new connection.

Hello, The front panel keys on a Skutt kiln are not functioning. After I clean the flat cable connecting the panel to the circuit board's contacts with alcohol, it works fine for about 2 weeks. Anything I can do other than replacing the front panel? Thanks, David
