Hi Callie, thanks for responding. It was fired to stoneware originally but some of the binding wire was a bit thin so is brittle hence the glaze over it is not all that stable. Could I glaze it with a lower firing glaze and fire to say 1100C.

Can anyone advise me please. I made a piece with Nichrome wire dipped in paperclay and glazed a few years ago. I wanted to réglage and fire it again as it is getting an it brittle. Can I just dip it again and fire it and if so to what temperature? Answers appreciated. Thanks
