Thank you Bill and Neil. Will do as you advise Bill. -
Our new set of elements have a resistance of 32.5 Ohms compared to the original of 38 Ohms. We were told that the lower resistance suited the Australian conditions better. Will the lower resistant elements produce more heat as current is increased? Also, One of our 38 Ohm wires has broken - just above the middle of the 7 wall elements. If it is replaced with the lower resistant wire, will it cause a hot spot? Or should we replace all the elements. Hope you can help - we have no technicians in our rural area.
