Ever pottery

I was wondering if someone could help, the VPM 20 Peter Pugger I have is not pugging the clay out. Vacuum and motor are working fine but when I push Pug if it does come out it is snail mode or not at all even with the speed turned up? Any help would be very much appreciated. Evelyn
