I think I have read every post on the forum and I am still stuck, so I would greatly appreciate any advice. I have a new-to-me Duncan EA-820 Teacher Plus kiln, which I have attempted to fire to cone 6. After 11 hours on high fire setting based on color I’d say it didn’t get past 06. with cones nowhere close to bending. All elements are heating, ohms reading 5 on each element. I don’t know how old the elements are. Shortly after I turn the kiln on, I hear a repeated, rapid clicking which leads me to believe there is a problem with one of the timers. Circuits are open/closed as expected on infinite switch when off or on. Turning the infinite switch, the places the switch “stops” are not aligned with the marked settings. The knob is not easily removed. Thanks in advance.
