  1. I have several large[ish] lumps of hardened clay of unknown provenance, and I was wondering if they might be of use to someone.
  2. Greetings. I am not a potter, but my mother was. She taught at Greenwich House in NYC in the 1970's, and had a studio at home. Her pottery equipment has been sitting idle for many years, and, as a result, it may be in need of some repair, or, at the very least, some TLC. In the coming days, I will be posting several items, including two electric wheels, all of which will be free for the taking. As these items are bulky, and heavy, you must come to Brooklyn to pick them up, and you must provide your own labor to move them out of the house, and down a short flight of stairs. First up is a Hotpack Kiln, Model 7007. Does it work? I don't know. The house is not wired for 220 volts. The power cord is frayed, and will need replacing. The cabinet is large, measuring 60"H x 27"W x 29"D—roughly the size of a refrigerator, but much heavier. It is on wheels, but they might need replacing as well. The kiln portion measures 16"H x 14"W x 15"D, and there are two shelves below for storage This item is located on the bottom floor of the house, and would only have to be lifted up three steps to reach street level.
