  1. Hi,

I just joined and tried to get an answer for recovering dried glazes.  I have a glaze that breaks into "rocks" and if I add water they don't dissolve.  This glaze had been frozen and thawed from a move and is in a 5 gallon bucket, with pretty good seal.  The water I had added is still there and so are the rocks of glaze.  Can I add CMC or something to melt the rocks?

    Thanks,

    LadyT

Hi @ladytrimpot and welcome! If you want to post a question to the forum so you get a variety of answers, go into the section you think will fit the question best. In this case, probably Glaze Chemistry. Next, click on “start new topic,” and fill out the form that appears. Be sure to give your topic a title that will give some info about what you’re asking, such as “how to rescue a frozen glaze”. You’ll get loads of suggestions in no time. I can do it for you if you need assistance, but if you post it yourself you’ll get notifications when people post answers.
