Thats the kind of mercury in mercury vapor bulbs,Gaseous mercury. One time I was in New Orleans and a Giant truck filled with flourescent tube lights dropped their load and 1000's of bulbs broke in front of the tourists. None the less I held my breath walking by that, because whatever stuff those things put into the environment when they break.
