Need more info:  reduction or oxidation? electric?  bisqued with underglazes or full fired already?  fired originally to what cone or temp? what is the clay body?  what kind of glaze are you adding on top of what kind of glaze? using commercial glazes or are they mixed from your individual ingrediants--what is in the glaze?  matte? gloss? iron oxides?  what is the form?   Lots of variables.  (I single-fire commercial clay bodies and commercial glazes in an electric kiln, cone 5 and am usually successful if I am reglazing/refireing for some reason, when I am sure the glazes are compatable--not all combinations are. )
