  1. Since I started making pots, I found the Bisque process prior to glazing too time consuming and expensive . So I decided to spray all my glazes, you can't get the pots too wet unless you spray the inside then outside so the moisture meets in the middle of the pot sides. You can also pour the inside but you must spray or dip the outside immediately or the pot will crack. Thats why spraying works so well. You can use colored slips on leather hard to add color or have another spray gun for additional colors. I used this method on thrown pots and cast pots. Did it for 18 years.
