You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day. Sooooo, I like this. Who needs limitations.

I meant to make one of those years ago. I got as far as cutting out a plexi circle then somehow forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder.
You're very welcome. Consider it a, thank you from me. You always help me and others. Thank you.

looks like getting all those lotus petal tips to line up around the bowl would have been a lot of trial and error. do you use a compass?
I make three lite horizontal lines, equally spaced, after trimming the foot and all. I have made a compass on my plastic bat to mark the points on the lines depending how wide I want the petals. Then I make a sine wave. I sponge out the lines. Maybe I should make a video. I haven't done one in a while.
I'll post a picture of my bat today.

Oh yeah. I am loving it. I had this in mind to do one day. I just started using porcelain. Well I have a bag. But I am going to get some Laguna Frost, as recommended by a friend. I only fire to ^6. Is this ^10+?
Thank you for sharing. I really love them.

I love the form and color. It works for me. Nice work.

This is how I feel after that first morning sip of coffee. I could look at this all day. Imagine a wall like this. Beautiful.
-
I feel like I'm out in space looking down on Earth. Just beautiful.

You are too kind. I appreciate all your encouragement and kindness. You are a wonderful person. Thank you my friend.
And you are a keen observer. I love my foot ring. It gets overlooked. It's as important as any part of the pot.
I feel I am getting better, but only since I joined PC. So many good people. Thanks Glazenerd.

is the space for the chattering band formed with masking tape?°
No. I made the chattering during the trimming. I used a homemade tool from a hacksaw blade. bent at a 90° angle. First two grooves and then chattering in the middle. After bisquing ^04, I glazed and waxed, then dipped in my white glaze. Does this answer your question?

It is very nice, indeed.

WOW! That's a potter's heaven.

Holy Bong city batman. That will be smoking. LOL
-
Thank you. I learned by just coping other people's work or pictures. But just as a training method. Like anything, practice is needed to become good at any thing. And always have fun.

Awww man, glazenerd, that was so awesome to hear. And I have decided to make a run with porcelain. I got bit by that porcelain bug. lol. And I think it would a step in the right direction for me. Thanks for the earlier suggestion. I will refire the candle holders this weekend. I'm putting in a vent hood for the kilns to get some the fumes out. Anyway, thanks for all your support and kindness.

I don't know, but it looks to be in good condition. You should give more info, like amps and voltage. How old, where you are located. What is the model? Who makes it? Try selling it on eBay or Cregg's List. Try posting in a local paper or even take a ad in a school paper. Best of luck.
