Slip Cast Horned Lizard Mug

SydneyGee

NOT my work. I picked this adorable little guy up this weekend during our trip to Death Valley Nation Park. He just spoke through to me among the raku, the porcelain, and the amazingly carved Native American pots. This little guy was slip cast and painted by a local artist. I have dubbed him Ernest, and he now happily perches in the rock garden with a aloe vera cutting.

I just found the same horned lizard mug at the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Fort Erie Ontario! It spoke to me too! No way it wasn’t coming home with me. Thanks for posting where it’s from. The mystery of it was fun, but not as much fun as your post and pic.
