Fresh mugs with handles, even!

These are part of a commission for Distress Centre Calgary. They are given as corporate gifts, and read "Everyone is heard". I use a low tech silk screen (a plotter-cut Mylar sheet) to print the lettering onto a piece of newsprint, and gently apply this to the side of the mug. Once the slip is set up, I gently peel the newsprint off and apply the handles.

It's from a stencil that I push slip through. No screen to speak of, but I pull the slip over the stencil the same way you'd pull ink over an actual silk screen on to a piece of paper. Then the paper gets applied to a soft pot, because the stencil itself isn't flexible enough.
