Fine Bone China Traditional Scale 'Pasture Porthos'

My first sculpture produced in English fine bone china /for/ me by another studio, this is 'Pasture Porthos', my traditional scale Percheron stallion.   While I sculpt, mold, cast and produce my own ceramic bisque in my studio for custom glazing to realistic horse colors, this version of this piece is being produced in a very limited edition of approximately 25 pieces by Animal Artistry of England.   Most of this edition will be fine bone china on bases but Donna and her crew are also producing a few of these in earthenware ceramic off base for me.  Each piece will be custom glazed by myself or a guest artist of my choosing.  Few bisques will be available unglazed.  Pasture Porthos stands approximately 8 inches tall by about 8 inches long and is roughly 1:9th scale before shrinkage.   I'm also having a smaller curio scale edition produced in fine bone china posed to face the other direction as well as my first version Porthos with docked tail that I'm producing in limited numbers in my own studio in earthenware.  This photo is by Donna Chaney and used with her permission.
