Floating Ikebana

Used in the Japanese art of flower arranging, Ikebana form the basis of the arranger's art, I think of them as a collaboration with flowers and vines. Any time I create an Ikebana I think of my cousin who has inspired me to fall in love with and make more of these unique vases. Made of mid-range stoneware clay and glazed in muted verdigris with a matte finish, Floating Ikebana stands 4 1/2" high, 4 1/2" wide and 8 1/2" in length. Plenty of openwork to attach vines as well as fully, water-tight compartments.
