Chris Campbell Posted March 17, 2011 Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 Yes, you can decorate bisque with slip, you just mix it thinner than cream. I think most of the commercial underglazes are basically slips ... you might want to try those too. They are really easy to use. For a good chance of success use your base clay to make the slip ... second best would be to use another clay that matures at the same temperature.
