Tikiguy Posted August 5, 2013 Report Share Posted August 5, 2013 I would love to get the sandy speckled look of a cone 6 clay in my slip casting. is there a good receipe for a speckled buff slip for cone 6 firing out there that costs less than buying the bland stuff at my ceramics store? Wyndham Posted August 6, 2013 Report Share Posted August 6, 2013 You might want to slip cast first then make a slip out of the casting slip with a fine grain sand added and a touch of iron oxide for color and spray this onto the cast piece for sandpaper texture.
