Isculpt Posted June 25, 2013 Report Share Posted June 25, 2013 I have spent an hour looking for this topic on CAD and visiting various websites for ceramics suppliers, with no luck. I am trying to find a high temp sculpture wire that can be used inside a 1/2" clay coil to provide some strength after the firing. I like to make tree branches (see attachments), but they are vulnerable to breakage from careless handling after they are finished. Also, I don't know what gauge wire I need. Too thick, and it would probably be difficult to bend, but too thin and it would probably not offer much strength.
