Space is still available for Josh's upcoming workshop in March at the Workshouse Arts Center. Exhibit of Josh's work will be displayed February 6-March 10, 2013 .

Pottery as Expression

March 8- Reception and Slide Talk-7pm-9pm (Building W-16)
March 9-10 Workshop 10am-4pm (Building W-8)
This workshop will include demonstrations of throwing, altering and constructing a variety of pottery forms, and will include discussion of issues involved with making pottery as an expressive art form in a contemporary context. Information concerning clay bodies, glazes, and firing techniques will be shared. Slide lectures will include historical and contemporary references as well as a historical account of the Archie Bray Foundation and its contribution to the field of ceramic art.

Visited the Josh DeWeese exhibit today . . . very nice work. If you get a chance and are in the DC area, worth your time to drop by and take a look.
