magnanese, etc?

Recommended Posts

am i right in seeing than there is a magnanese, a magnanese dioxide, and a mangnanese oxide?

are they all different?

Yes...but I think you need to be very careful with spelling. Magnesium is way different than Manganese and all of the above are misspelled.

I believe you are asking about Manganese, Manganese Dioxide and Manganese oxide and there is also Manganese carbonate.

The variations most commonly used vary by the accompanying molecules of oxygen. MnO, MnO2, MnCO3 etc.
