Hi rokhairuddin jamal,

Check out the Education section on Ceramic Arts Daily as you prepare assignments for your upcoming class. There are University level assignments as well as studio resources posted there:

http://ceramicartsdaily.org/education/lesson-plans-and-project-ideas-college-level/

and

http://ceramicartsdaily.org/education/?floater=99

(Scroll to the bottom of that page for the resources section)

If you don't see any assignments that meet your needs, check back next week, as we will be making more projects available as downloads and as HTML pages. Even more will be added by the end of every month.

You can also check out the Free Gifts section of Ceramic Arts Daily. You can download PDFs of projects, glaze recipes, information on studio equipment, features on artists' work, etc. that would be useful in a first semester ceramics course.

Lastly, if you want to use video in your classes, there are many free how-to video clips on CAD that would be helpful to beginning students. If you don't want to show them in class, you could assign watching them as homework, or if requiring a paper for the class, give the URL to the students as a source to research artists and techniques. New video clips are added every Friday.
