NH Potters' Guild

The New Hampshire Potters' Guild has just elected Andy Hampton (hamptonpottery.com) as the new chairman. This is terrific (my blatent, biased, shameless editorial opinion).  Claire Provencher (claireprovencher.com)--also terrific--will continue as the Vice Chairman.  It is safe to say that this duo is committed to enhancing the development of the Guild and serving the best interests of the members.

For fun, the annual Pot Swap was just held. I scored this gorgeous wheel-thrown mug by Andy Hampton, with a genuine top-to-bottom tea dust glaze (I believe from a workshop Andy took with Ken Matsuzaki). I brought a stoneware free-form  tray/catchall in clear and matte glazes.

One does not have to reside in NH to become a member; currently some are in Maine, Vermont, and MA.  Go to https://www.nhpottersguild.org/ for more information.  If you're in travel distance, consider checking it out--next meeting is in June.
