vinnymaio
I've just fired a box made with limoges porcelain (temperature of firing 1260' celsius). It was 40 centimeters tall and when I opened the kiln I found it folded on its right side (the side in front of the electric wires) Could you think to any reason? Marcia Selsor
I used Limoges porcelain along with my studio mates when I was a resident in Rome last Fall. It seemed to slump about 1220 C unless the piece was built with architectural structure. This is one of the pieces by Linda Lietuviete from Latvia. I think it is not structurally sound for hand building long unsupported work. Marcia
