Agape Chalice 1

5 inch Chalice, ^6, Waterfall Brown (Ron Roy; Mastering ^6), one piece thrown. Donated 30 for my Aunt's church youth group for their Agape Retreat this month. First time I ever made this form.

I too just made my first chalice and paten for my wife. She has just gotten her own church and needed the chalice and paten. 

 

Don't you love waterfall brown? Try it over strontium crystal matte for Iron. Every glaze kiln load has at least 1 piece with waterfall brown.

I love the Waterfall brown. I have plans to make variations of it. I love Earth tones. I think I will try these chalices again. Only larger. But I have a lot on my to do list, so whenever. LOL.

I don't know anything about Strontium crystal Matte for iron? That's news  to me. Send me a recipe, as I do have plans to work with other glazes. Thanks
