I have had greenware doll heads stored in tissue paper and boxes for 17 years. I have just taken them out to do some dolls and they are really bone dry. I have broken a couple of pieces trying to clean them. So what I have attempted to do is to put a small damp sponge in a plastic bag and put the greenware head into the plastic bag and let it sit for a couple of days to try to get a little more flexibility in the greenware so that it does not crumble when cleaning. has anybody else ever tried this
