ClayFest 2013 will happen this Saturday, Nov. 9th, 2013 from 9 AM to 4:30 PM at Ceramic Services: 530 S. Palmetto, Ontario, CA 91762.

It's Free, and will feature demonstrations by Marsha Judd on burnishing, Patrick Crabb will show a slide show of his student's work and preview a mosaic workshop, Scott Young will be demonstrating complex pinch pot forms, Stephen Horn will be showing how to "Throw like George", and Frank Masserella will be demoing throwing and using slips.

We will be holding a raffle of clay supplies and tools from our sponsors: Shimpo, Laguna Clay, Aardvark, MKM Tools, Ceramic Services and Dolan Tools, and all proceeds go directly to Glendora Empty Bowls, a group that provides food support to local food banks and the Glendora PD.

African Drummers will be there to entertain at noon, and Pete Gerard will be demonstrating and selling his one-of-a-kind hand made tools.

Ceramic Services will be demonstrating their new Sumo Raku Kiln (check their FaceBook page for videos of it in action), a large raku kiln for sculpture, and doing raku demos.

It will be lots of fun, educational, inspirational, and help a great cause.  Stop by if you can!
