susan barbehenn seaver
From Cornell's "Pot Shop" to CSMA: In 2011 the Cornell University Ceramic Studio closed its doors to hundreds of students and local community members who loved to work in clay. Members and instructors from the former Cornell studio are now working with The Community School of Music and Art (CSMA) in downtown Ithaca, New York, to open a new community pottery studio. Join us during First Friday Gallery Night, March 1st, for demonstrations in wheel throwing and hand-building, a pottery and fine art sale, refreshments, and fundraiser. Your support and donations will help fund a feasibility study to bring ceramics instruction and studio space to CSMA. We are accepting ceramic and fine art donations for our funraising event. These can be sent to: The Community School of Music and Art 215 East State Street Ithaca, NY 14850 Attn: Community Clay Studio of Ithaca Please include your name and address along with a suggested price for your work. Follow our development on facebook: Community Clay Studio of Ithaca. $ Donations can also be made on our facebook page.
