Looking to identify a translucent porcelain to be used for slip casing & mold making. Any suggestions would be helpful.
  3. Wedging Tables

I use a large cement stepping stone that you get at Loews or Home Depot garden center. One side I use for dark clay , the other side for light color. Works great
  4. Crackle Effect

Thank for your suggestion, will give it a try. Ken
  5. I'm interested to use some use sodium silicate to create the crackle effect on my pot. I understand that you apply the sodium silicate to the bowl , then continue shaping it by pulling out the wall from the inside. My question is , do you need to add slip to the pot before adding the sodium silicate . Or is that optional? Any other suggestions or guidance would be helpful. Thanks, Ken
