  1. During the initial honeymoon period of centering and breathless infatuation, I remember saying, "Finally, something in my life I can control!" Then our relationship became one of time apart, wistful memories, longing, and multiple, brief re-encounters infused with my hope of establishing a daily, familiar habit of interaction and creation. Age and wisdom has taught me that I must see my love for what it is; a gentle, receptive and forgiving medium, always there to center me when I am ready, and through which I tell stories and make ideas visual.
  2. YES it is Ron Meyers, don't know why I was thinking Ken...Thank you so much!
  3. Hi, Can someone help me remember the name of a ceramic artist? I think his first name is Ken, I think he is from Georgia, and about 15-20 years ago he was creating red earthenware vessels on the wheel. He would alter them by allowing them to slump a little or make them slightly oval. He would very loosely brush white slip and then sgraffito a quick rabbit, or dog face for example. This is driving me crazy because he was a great influence on me. Thanks in advance for your help.
  4. I would be functional, useful, because a functional piece can also be sculptural and stand on its own as an interesting, beautiful and thought-provoking statement.
  5. These vessels were wheel thrown and altered.
