There are still spaces available for this summer's workshop that Misty Gamble will be teaching, entitled, 'Reverie, Rome and the Self Referential Bust' at C.R.E.T.A. Rome from June 8th - June 21st. During this workshop Misty will work with participants in a shared studio to create a once fired clay sculpture that explores different hand building techniques and surface treatments as well as focusing on academic proportions vs expressive and ideal representation. Accompanied by a seasoned Art Historian/Archeologist we will visit cultural and artistic sites to examine and discuss Roman sculpture dating from the Renaissance to the modern era.
