    Bisqued then fired in barrel kiln. The purplish marked likely came from chemicals which a friend brought, cobalt I think. The powder is pale purple and we just sprinkled it around the pots in little piles on top the straw , wood and other combustables.

    this was bisque fired, then wrapped in foil sag gar with wood chips ( the kind used for smoking meat, apple I think) as well as some salts and fired in downdraft barrel. See firing at http://playsinclay.blogspot.ca

    bisque fired then applied green leaves from mountain ash tree. I covered the leaves with slip to make them stick to the pot. Once dry it was fired in downdraft barrel kiln. see firing at http://playsinclay.blogspot.ca

    Bisque fired, coated with slip then barrel fired. Slip crackled and mostly fell off. Scrubbed the rest off and voila! see firing at http://playsinclay.blogspot.ca
