LeeU
"My" carpenter just showed up with a wedging wire (cut & slam & general cutting) set up that he made me, based on my waving hands-in-air description (I had not even shown him a pic) and my whining about cutting clay with the little wire used for wheel work. Steel plate for the base, w/gripper stuff underneath to hold it firm to my steel table and I can move it if I wish. It will go on the left with my cement/canvas wedging block on the right. How sweet is that? And, the high intensity ceiling light is going in now...yee haw!
Denice
Nice, you will enjoy using it, looks like you still have a lot of snow, we got a inch last night, people were driving like maniacs and crashing. Denice
oldlady
your studio is up and running. and it appears you will never have to worry about moving around in snow with all that heavy equipment outside the window.

LeeU
And yesterday, the kiln was wired in! (Thanks go to Neil Estrick and others on CAD forums, and my landlord!) And, yes, Old Lady, that equipt. is my landlord's (contractor/family biz) and they plow and clear the street like a work of art in itself.
