Han.mf
Hello! I am trying to create sprig molds for pottery. I have been creating the original in sculpey and then I have been pressing the sculpey into clay to fire. This method is okay but it’s difficult to get the original out of the clay as the moisture creates a suction that distorts the imprint when you pull it out. I would like to try using a mold release but was worried that a residue of mold release on the clay might be a bad idea to put in the kiln. Any thoughts? Thank you!
