nachotheclaygod
Hello! I am having trouble starting my Duncan EA-1020 kiln with a LT-3K kiln sitter. I set up the kiln sitter correctly, turn the timer knob, and then I press the white button (plunger). When I press the white button on the kiln sitter controller, the red light underneath the switch knob (it says “off, overglaze, ceramic, and hi-fire”) goes on and the kiln alarm starts going crazy. I have looked online for any guidance but am having no luck. Any help is appreciated. I will attach a picture of the kiln control unit so you guys can see what I’m talking about, but note that I have not set up the kiln sitter properly in the picture. Thank you!! neilestrick
Describe the 'kiln alarm'. I've never heard of these kilns having any sort of alarm. Are you sure it's not a relay or switch that's chattering?
