Non chrome tin deep purple

Recommended Posts

I'm in the same oar trying to formulate a color match for Pantone's Color of the Year, Very Perri - Using Chrome Tin will get you a nice pink, but otherwise, it's not giving a great purple. I've done several line blends. I even used just a bright red stain and a Colbalt aluminum blue. I get some purples, but it depends on what kind of deep purple shade you want. I may be able to help you with stains if you are using those, but not if you're using oxides.
I would echo, and suggest you purchase some stain samples from Mason Color or from Baily Pottery.
